But bring your mind back to the coffee grown in Costa Rica. Coffee is one of the primary industries in Costa Rica in addition to bananas and tourism. Costa Rica has set Central and South American standards for premium wet-processed coffee. The Tres Rios region near the Pacific produces coffees that are mild, sweet and bright; the Tarrazu region produces a relatively heavy coffee with more aromatic complexity. The La Minita estate is the most sought after coffee in all of Costa Rica.
