The Best Tours and Activities in Jaco
Catamaran Tours to Tortuga Island with inviting blue waters, warm white sands, green mountains, superb cuisine and excellent personal service at the very low costs of $100.
The Los Suenos Marina hosts world-Class Sport fishing contests where you can find marlin, roosterfish, sailfish, yellowfin tuna, mahi-mahi, wahoo, snapper, sea bass, snook, grouper and more.
Adventurous ATV tours or if you prefer being in the water, there are many white water rafting options with level 3 &4 rapids.
The Surfing here in Jaco and Hermosa is world renown and there are fantastic surf lessons, tours and camps around the area.
And for my personal favorite: The Equestrian Events! Costa Rica´s National pastimes are rodeos and Topes (a traditional horse parade). Costa Rica is also the 2nd largest Spanish horse exporter in the world after Spain. Trail rides along the beach and through the rainforest are a common and much loved activity in the many tourist areas.
I grew up in Shorewood Wisconsin and later lived in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. In college I spent my days in Milwaukee. During college I started selling real estate for my father at his development and architecture company Renner Architects. I was so successful at sales I eventually took over the sales office and managed to sell many condominiums in the Third Ward in Milwaukee.
After that venture I decided to take some Spanish and adventure courses in Costa Rica and maybe stay and work for 6 months. Well it has been six years now and I am still in Costa Rica. The weather sure beats Wisconsin! I also am living a lifestyle I think most dream of. I have two Spanish horses; I go surfing, and am surrounded by a truly heavenly landscape and good cheer that Costa Rica provides. I am so happy I made the move. I have been selling (like back home) real estate for 5 years. I am also an owner of a number of properties here and believe that Costa Rica is a great place to live and thrive.
